Insurance: Terms and Limitations
 . What the insurance does not cover:
 - Damage to tires, rims, hubcaps, antennas, and windows.
 - Damage caused while driving off-road, towing, racing, or violating UAE laws.
 - Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs voids the insurance.
 - Personal belongings are not covered.
. In case of an accident:
 - A police report is mandatory:
 - Green report (not at fault) — you pay nothing.
 - Red report (at fault) — you cover the cost of the report (approximately 5000 AED) and the excess fee.
 - Without a police report, all expenses are borne by the renter.
. Basic coverage:
 - Basic insurance (third-party liability) is included.
. Excess in case of an accident where you are at fault:
 - 1500 AED - 2000AED + a possible additional fee for the vehicle’s downtime + Percentage % of the damage cost.

1. What Full Insurance (CDW) covers:
 – Covers damage to the rental vehicle, including bodywork, tires, rims, hubcaps, and windows.
 – Reduces your financial liability in case of an accident, except for cases mentioned in exclusions.
2. What Full Insurance (CDW) does not cover:
 – Damage caused while driving off-road, towing, racing, or violating UAE laws.
 – Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs voids the insurance.
 – Lost keys, interior damage, or misuse of the vehicle.
 – Personal belongings inside the car are not covered.
3. In case of an accident:
 – A police report is mandatory for insurance to apply:
 – Green report (not at fault) – you pay nothing.
 – Red report (at fault) – you pay only the reduced excess fee.
 – Without a police report, all expenses are borne by the renter.
4. Driver and liability:
 – The minimum age of the driver is 25 years.

 5. Excess in case of an accident where you are at fault:
 – A reduced excess fee from 2500 to 1500 AED depending on what type of vehicles applies instead of full repair costs, with Police Report.
