Insurance: Terms and Limitations

 1. What the insurance does not cover:
 - Damage to tires, rims, hubcaps, antennas, and windows.
 - Damage caused while driving off-road, towing, racing, or violating UAE laws.
 - Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs voids the insurance.
 - Personal belongings are not covered.
 2. In case of an accident:
 - A police report is mandatory:
 - Green report (not at fault) — you pay nothing.
 - Red report (at fault) — you cover the cost of the report  and the excess fee 1500 AED-3000 AED.
 - Without a police report, all expenses are borne by the renter.
 3. Driver and liability:
 - The minimum age of the driver is 25 years.
 4. Basic coverage:
 - Basic insurance (third-party liability) is included.
 5. Excess in case of an accident where you are at fault:
- the renter must pay the excess charges of 1500 AED - 3000 AED. 

Insurance features will vary depending on the car model and special conditions. Below are general coverage terms for Collision Damage Waiver Insurance: 

Cross Liability: Only one excess to be applied where two insured vehicles are involved in collision with each other.

Off Road Cover for 4WD Vehicles (excluding participating in competitive event, dune bashing or race of any kind) and subject to deductible excess amount of AED 2,500/-.

Loss of Personal Belongings up to AED 1,000/- (excluding money & jewelry), restricted to private vehicles.
Windscreen damage: No excess claim up to AED 3,000/-.

Emergency Medical expenses up to AED 2,500/- per person.

Emergency Roadside assistance cover – Silver (Only for Vehicles up to 3 Ton including the loaded weight). Natural Perils (excluding hail storm), Flood (provided the vehicle is not driven).
Riot, strike & civil commotion.
Theft by Hirer.
