BASIC INSURANCE (STANDARD COVERAGE)
What Is Covered
Coverage applies only when the vehicle is driven according to rental terms and a valid police report is obtained.
a. Green Report (Hirer Not at Fault)
AED 200 MCR accident surcharge.
Applicable excess as per the rental category.
Hirer pays 10% of parts + labour for repairs.
100% downtime charges may apply.
Windscreen and tyre damages are not covered and must be paid by the Hirer.
b. Red/White Report (Hirer At Fault)
AED 200 MCR accident surcharge.
Excess amount:
AED 2,000 for regular vehicles.
AED 3,500 for Kia Carnival, Coupes, and all SUVs.
Hirer pays 10% of parts + labour.
100 % downtime charges apply.
Windscreen and tyre damages are not covered.
c. No Police Report
Insurance becomes void.
Hirer is liable for full repair costs and full downtime.
What Is NOT Covered
Standard insurance does not cover windscreen or tyre damage, or any damage caused by misuse, violations of rental terms, unauthorized drivers, intoxicated driving, illegal activities, or off-policy use such as racing, off-roading, beaches, floodwater, or contaminated fuel. Damage from gross negligence, unsuitable roads, lost keys, system misuse, or intentional harm is also excluded.
    In all such cases, the Hirer bears full liability for damage, losses, and downtime.
